Q: How to replace optical storage device (CR-ROM/DVD-ROM) from Compaq Presario laptop?
A: You should do as follows:
Lift panel above the speakers (this one with multimedia keys and Presario logo)
Remove 4 keyboard mounting screws
Remove 2 screws that mount optical device - screws are under the keyboard on the right
Push optical device from the back and pull from the front
